During May 12 I have had to have bloods taken for a possible anti immune disease requested by my doctor. Beginning of this year I started to receive statements relating to that, and shortly afterwards Final Demand letters from ITC. I contacted my medical aid (Bonitas) and they advised that they are still waiting for a Pathology Request Note which they requested from Lancet. I contacted Lancet who said that they could not send it through to Bonitas as they "didn't know" what Bonitas contact details were. I then gave them the details - which I searched for on google. Two weeks later I following up with Bonitas and they tell me that they still have not received anything from Lancet. I ring Lancet yet again to request these notes. A couple days later I receive these notes in my email box. I proceed to forward it onto Bonitas. I phoned Bonitas this morning to confirm that it has all now been process, only to be told that because all of 2012's medical aid was exhausted, they wont be able to pay! I understand that my medical aid was exhausted towards the end of the year (Oct 12) due to the fact that I broke my foot. But it wasn't during May12. Now neither will accept responsibility!
