I"m a 39 year old male with wife 37 years two children 9 and 7 respectively we lived in Namibia for 7 years and is still on Prosperaty medical aid we relocated back to SA for work reasons and wanted to join Momentum medical aid. The broker asked me to complete application honest and I have a Limpon (gland) in my neck that is not danagerous I was advised to have this removed by the old medical aid and they would have a look at me agian, so off I whent with doctors report's and procudure booked. Yesterday recieved a letter from them saying that this will be exempted for a year period. My wife with heartburn condition also exempted for a year and no claims for 3 months will be paid. Today I phoned the call centre to explain with no help. I have the following questions:
1. Why reccomend that I go for a procudre if they knew they going to decline me and make live difficult I"m now going for a opp for nothing the gland is not dangerous.
2.What will happen if in accident in 3 month probation, they will not pay.
3.Why put the kids and my wife on probation
4.Does 7 years on previous medical aid count for nothing
5.Why take 1&1/2 months for a answer?
6. No letter from previous medical aid.
