A holiday booked through "Ballito Accommodations" for a self-catering flat (201 Bermuda) went horribly wrong upon first entering the flat. A disgusting, lingering odor in the apartment, ants crawling around the kitchen sink, roaches, broken windows, broken kitchen cupboards, 100% rusty vegetable peeler, extremely small shower with dirty fabric shower curtain, dirty and smelly extra blanket, curtains hanging off the rail and hence unable to properly draw the curtains, rust all around the flat, a single flat sheet on all the beds (I had to request top sheets, which were delivered and dumped on the dresser-so much for the availability of housekeeping). I complained the very first morning about the ants and roaches and I was sent DOOM (I guess to tackle the issue myself). I requested a cot, the blanket to be changed, dishwashing soap. I was told that dish washing soap was my issue since this is a self-catering flat---but DOOM was sent immediately. The cot and blanket issue was ignored. All in all a disgusting flat, terrible service from Ballito Accommodations (for ignoring my requests). Result: sick child from open window. Payment made in full before arrival -their policy.
