I am now looking after my 72 year old sister. While I was away she fell and cracked her ribs. X-rays were taken to prove this. The Doctor prescribed Tramahexal pain tablets and Transact. Both medications were turned down by Bonitas. I don't uderstand how they cannot supply the medication as Trans-Act is an external patch for pain and swelling. She is the only one on the medical aid and pays R1978.00 per month.
I do not know how or where to contact the people working directly with claims of medication, as this is unacceptable. Her whole pension goes to medical aid and tne rest on medicine. Can you maybe help me.
