Incorect medication dispensed

Good day

I went to Clicks pharmacy at Amajuba mall in Newcastle to pick up a last repeat for medication for my sons Asthma. The pharmacist on duty was Farhana Moola who had a very bad atitude and did want to look at my approval form from medical aid which had the medication needed. she lookded it up on the computer and said she knows and that the medical aid will pay for the last repeat. she put the medicine in a brown bag and handed it to me.

That night my son needed his medicine and when i opened it I found the medicine was different. I quickly read it and found the medicine was wrong and was for 12 years up and very strong for my 5 year old son. I could not take a chance giving it to my son. The medicine dispensed was Inflammide and medicine needed was Budeflam 200 gentle inhaler.

I dont understand how can the last repeat be different from initial medication. This type of service is unacceptable especially when it comes to such a case for childrens medication.

The pharmacist had a very bad attitude and should have listened and ensured the correct medicine was dispensed.

When I returned the medicine, the pharmacist on duty said the medicine could have been detrimental
