I became a member of bankmed on the 30 December 2012, requested to join them for january 2013 but yet my benefit date was 01 /12 /2013, I contacted bankmed as this was absurd as I only became a member almost into the new year and yet been debited the december premium. They told me that they needed an email from HR to request to change the benefit date to January 2013 which HR has done but still no Refund!!! Please can I be refunded, why should I pay for an entire month when the month was almost over and I specifically requested to be joined on the 01 January 2013. Bankmed has told me that HR requested on the application that the benefit date should be 01/12/2013 and all they needed was an email from my HR dept to state it was in error and should be 01/01/2013 which they have done yet I am still waiting!
