My bankmed medical aid plan makes provision for one free pap smear per year however when it comes to claiming back the costs of the pap smear, bankmed is not prepared to pay for it citing reasons such as incorrect codes. According to my doctor the codes are correct and no other patients have the same issue with the codes being incorrect.
For the past two years I am unable to claim back the costs of my pap smear.
