Left with the bill

A sum around 4.5k is what I owe a doctor at Fourways Life Hospital.

At no point was it indicated to me that I'd have to pay for this. I was told that septoplasty was covered. But now it seems that there were details that were not mentioned to me.
I was not told that I would have R1250 paid out to me and that I'd have to pay for the rest.
I was simply supplied with codes. I then dropped them in the Discovery box and left.

After my holiday, I have this explained to me by the Doctor's receptionist for the first time.

I call to discovery and with the worst attitude ever, tell me that that's just too bad because you don't pay for that.

Had you been clear to me about what the details are when just say 'you're covered' and skip to supplying codes, I would not have this issue on my hands now. I would not even have put myself in the situation I would have not been able to budget for.

I'd like you to cover this unless you can prove to me with a recorded phone call that this was CLEARLY explained to me. Having the detail riddled in some document somewhere doesn't count.
