A few weeks ago I needed to go to Unitas Hospital to see a doctor. The gentleman at the accounts department confirmed that they would follow up with Discovery for the claim.
Discovery rejected the claim citing "incorrect codes". i followed up with both them and the hospital, and finally it was sorted out that the code system has changed. Now first you would think Discovery's system should be able to pick up old codes? Anyway, the doctor's department sent through the new codes finally, and now I get a message that the codes (though correct) aren't specific enough.
Seriously? This has been a headache for weeks now, I pay discovery so that I dont have to sort this out. Surely they can sort it out with the doctors (which is why we have medical aid!) but i've given up and won't pursue this further.
