Please could someone get in contact with me and sort this issue out? I got a quote from Discovery on how much I'd have to pay in for a shoulder op. They seem to have messed up the admission first of all, even though it was approved.
I sent through the quote that the Doctor gave to me, for Discovery to tell me what portion they will pay. Nothing makes sense. They haven't included half the codes that were on the doctors quote, and seem to have left out codes for the approved hospital admission.
Dr Kastanos is not contracted into Discovery, however, he has given me discounts whereby Discovery should cover the amounts or at least most of them, because I am on Classic Comprehensive and this scheme should pay 200% of specialist fees.
Someone from Discovery needs to please phone Dr Kastanos' offices and speak to the receptionist, because I am not qualified to talk of operation codes etc. I know he's not contracted in, but I am the client, and I am requesting that you call his offices, and rectify this mistake. I am really not impressed that I have basically spoon fed Discovery by sending through all the codes and the quote - how could you get it that wrong when you have all the info?
