I am admitted to the medical ward with three other patients in a four-bedded room. One of the patients has diarrhea, which is offensive and most likely infectious.
My fellow patients and I raised this matter with the day staff on duty at around 17:00, and nothing was done. When the shift changed, we reported the matter to the night shift staff, and they promised to move the patient to an isolation room. However, it is now 21:50, and still no action has been taken regarding the matter.
What if the patient has a contagious bug, and we get infected as well since we share the same bathrooms? This is inhumane.
