My mother, 83, is a member of the medical aid. She needs an athroscopy urgently as she can not walk at the moment. She is booked to have her operation next week and to our surprise we were told yesterday that this does not fall under thePMB list and is excluded. However, this operation is on the Board for Medical scheme's listed as a PMB? Nobody is answering our emails. My sister have been trying to get more info regarding this matter from them, but still no answer. The athroscopy is also not on their exclusion list? Time is running out for my mother as the operation date is next week. Please help.
