In 2011 December 15th a friend called the ambulance for me as i was pregnant and needed to get to hospital. they did arrive and i was taken to the hospital. Now such a service needs to be claimed from the medical aid, i only find out now 2yrs later that is was never claimed and they handed me over with no notification of such a bill whatsoever. Now they claim that they did not have any of my contact, now to my understanding when an ambulance takes a person, all her/his relevent information is taken and also they did not pick me up at the coner of my house, but exactly at the house. on the information sheet i filled in at the ambulance on my way to hospital there was my cellphone number, email, next of kin number and adress. Now how possible is that they could not track me down??? my complaint is that it is unfair that im expected to pay legal fees due to their lack of service.
