It is so sad that this is one of "those" companies

I often stay in Tsogo Sun Hotels and until this incident would have given them 10 out of 10 for service. I made an internet booking and paid (as is requested) over R8000 for a weekend stay in April. While trying unsuccessfully to book a vehicle for the weekend, I realised that the weekend in question is both a long weekend and the Two Oceans weekend. I have emailed Tsogo Sun to respectfully request a change to a less busy weekend in February (I have already changed my flights with Kulula with no difficulty whatsoever and the payment of just a small admin fee per ticket)
No, they say, and the refer me to "the terms and conditions"
How very sad that you are one of those companies. If you have availability, why would you not just be accomodating to your customers? Do you just want the money without attempting to provide the service? How very, very sad. I will now need to book at a cheap bed-and-breakfast as I am completely out of pocket.
