We made a booking with Liesl Tolken in July, for the long weekend of 21-24 September. Everything was paid and confirmed. Today when we followed up to see if all was ok for us to arrive Saturday morning, Liesl advised my wife that there is already someone in the Mountain Cabin that we booked for the weekend. This is a day before leaving for our holiday. We have taken leave from work, paid for the accomodation, bought our food and goodies for the trip, ready to go on our weekend away hiking.
This is a big dissappoinment, as it is the weekend we use to go away for both of our birthdays, as my birthday is on the 19th and my wife's on the 21st. Really disappointed that we are just shown away and advised that we wil be refunded, that's it. Apparently she tried to book us at another farm or something, but to nothing has come of it.
These people don't understand that it is impossible to find a place now and that this weekend will be lost, as not all of us have the opportunity to go away on a regular basis during the year.
This is very unprofessional and very disappointing and I am very disgusted in the way things were handled.
