The Gables advertised on Groupon for a 2 night weekend stay which includes breakfast for two people. After purchasing the deal and providing the coupon to Caj van Zyl from The Gables, I was informed that my booking is confirmed for the weekend requested and that breakfast is excluded. I informed Caj in a professional and mature manner that his advert on Groupon is in fact misleading as it states that breakfast is included. The response which I received was: "Would you like to cancel the booking? " After informing him that I am not interested in cancelling the booking, I merely want what was offered in the advert, namely 2 nights stay as well as breakfast. The next mail which I received was a confirmation that they have now amended the advert on Groupon correctly and that they have now also cancelled my booking and Groupon will refund my money. I am unsure on what basis my booking was cancelled as I specifically informed him I am keeping the booking and furthermore after confirming the advert was incorrect this is the service I received. I am still waiting for Caj to provide me with a contact number in order for us to discuss the situation telephonically. Very dissapointing!
