Bad Service and Negotiation Skills

My Spouse and myself booked into Victoria Wes Guest House for a overnight stay on the 30/12/2014. We were told that unfortunately the hot water tap in the shower was stuck and would not close. I decided to take the accommodation as it was busy season etc. The problem that immediately surfaced was that although we would have a hot shower, the hot water tap would not close causing the bathroom to steam up. When entering the unit it was already hot inside and we had to resort to putting the a/c as well as all the fans in the unit on and this helped. Sleeping would be a different story altogether as the hot water tap was running continuously. I phoned Wilma who pleaded ignorance (no plumbers available etc.). I suggested that we negotiate the overnight cost of the unit and she told me to pack up my things and leave if I was not happy, and had the nerve to call me irritating. She moved us to another unit which also did not have hot water. We paid full fee for the stay as I did not feel like arguing again. DSTV was also a problem and she had to get one of the other guests to sort the problem as again she did not know how to do it. Very unpleasant evening.
