First I have to commend you on your efforts to do your bid in saving electricity. I'm grateful for the energy saving light bulbs and the new shower heads that were installed in my flat.
I am however, not happy with the gyser power monitor. My reasons are that this unit automatically shuts power off during the "peak" periods, which are between 6am to 8am and 6pm to 8pm. Now with my family, we have to leave the house by 7am, now for us to achieve this, we need to wake up at 4:30am. This allows us to take a bath (with hot water). I have a school going daughter, who is actually suppose to wake up at 6am to get ready for school and is now forced to wake up earlier, and just makes it to get hot water.
The other thing with the units, is the programmed time. The clock on the unit is 15 to 20 minutes ahead, so my unit actually cuts power between 5:40 and 5:45am.
Please do something about this.
