I booked a self catering cottage with shower and a kitchenette. On arrival, the manager took us inside the house to a room and told us this is our accommodation. I told her that I paid R550 and this room was for R450. I also told her that I booked a self catering unit and a bed inside a house is far away from a self catering unit... The manager then asked me why I wanted a self catering unit. What a question!! Why do I need to explain to her my preferences??? She also added that if I take a self catering unit, no safe parking will be given to me... as if she wanted to make me change my mind. At the end she took us outside and showed us unit no. 5 as the self catering unit that I booked. As we walked in, there was no shower and no kitchen as specified by the booking. What type of service is this? We went back to the manager and I showed her the booking emails received on my cellphone and then she told us many stories and not once gave us an apology for the double booking as someone else was staying in the unit booked for a longer term. This is not the way to treat customers. Be careful when you make a booking with them!!!
