Disappointing and Unsatisfactory service

I was booked to have a laparoscopy on Tuesday 17 December 2013. I had to be at the hospital at 6am in order for the procedure to be done at 7am. I was no-where in the system and they had to find a bed for me. The bed I was shown to looked as if it had been slept in and the light didn't work (which I fixed). My mother was called back to reception to find out if I was giving birth! Once she was given my admission papers, the medical reason for admission was LEPROSY! We waited 6 hours for me to be wheeled into the surgical ward. I could clearly see other operations being done since none of the Operating doors were closed! Once in the operating room, no one spoke to me! I was ignored and was not informed when the anesthetic would be administered. While the procedure was done, they found an abscess and the first stages of appendicitis, which meant I would have to stay a few days to recover. While the nurses were professional, I was never offered to be bathed or fed even though I could not lean forward and needed assistance walking to the bathroom. My mother then saw a parktown prawn in the corridor and she was also ignored by nurses whenever she was there. I could go on and on. Disgusting.
