On being admitted for Hospital for a procedure. The anaesthetist told me while being taking into the operating room that he couldnt find me as he looked for me in the day ward but as it turns out they had admitted me to the surgical ward and therefore he didnt get a chance to do the pre op assesment. Dr Hicks then turned to my fiance and said he will still be charging for the pre op assesment, which my fiance didnt agree to. Whilst i give him brownie points for being lovely to me in the operating room. I recieved the bill the other day to see they charged us for the pre op. I called their offices and spoke to Patricia and discuss the pre op bill. She was extremely rude to me and told me that when Dr Hicks was telling me he couldnt find me, it is considered him seeing me before the proceedure and therefore they had every right to bill me. My problem with them is i now recieved the bill late (Due to my address being incorrect) and so my account will go into 60 days. So now we have to pay for procedures i didnt have and then pay interest ontop of that. Very unhappy and distressed!!!
