My last employer was affiliated with them, so I had to use their med aid through my employer. Recently I resigned from this employer. They were to send a letter to Momhealth to remove me from their group cover. Now, Momhealth has an option where u can do a continuation form so as soon as the group cover is terminated, u will then remain a member, with no break in cover. I sent them this form on 29Dec, to activate for 1Jan. Unfortunately my prev. employer was slow, and they didn't send it. I followed up with them and the med aid several times. Momhealth assured me that as soon as they receive the letter of termination they will automatically process my continuation. Now the employer finally sent this on 29Jan 13.Only to find out yesterday via email at 20:24 that my med aid has been terminated and now I am without cover. I followed up since 8 today waiting for promised call backs. They say they can't help today as the membership dept is not available. But they're able to send emails after hours into the early morning hours such as 00:40 in the morning. I assure them now, if my cover is not active by end of today, I will take this matter to the CMS and further as they had time since 29 Jan 2013.
