In Dec Last year I had to undergo a Hernia repair. I was advised by the Doctor at the time that I may need to undergo a further operation in the new year. I then checked with Momentum as to whether they would cover the procedure, as the doctor wasn't sure if Momentum did but he was sure that Discovery indeed cover it. I was then told by Momentum that my cover was indeed equivalent to Discoveries. Needless to say, time has come for me to undertake the procedure and now I am advised by Momentum that they do not cover this. So much for the assurances. Please beware the misrepresentations. I would have changed medical aids in the new year to ensure that I had adequate cover.
