I am a dentisted registered with the GEMS network. I have confirmed patient benefits before treating every single patient i have&confirmed that i am registered with the network&approved to treat their patients. Each time i was given approval. I now receive statements saying i will not be paid for the work i've done because i am "not a registered network provider". When i called to query several times over the last 2 weeks i was assured i am registered& the accounts will be re-processed&I would get paid. Today I queried yet again & this time was met by a very rude consultant who's speech is terribly unclear&could not even get his name clearly. This person rudely states that since GEMS is now administrated by prime cure&i am not registered with prime cure even though i am registered with GEMS i will not get paid for any of the patients i have treated! When i question then why was i given the go ahead to treat every single time i called to confirm for each individual patient, he tells me to hold the line&cuts the call. GEMS at no point communicated the takeover by primecure, nor did they inform us registered GEMS providers to register with primecure. GEMS has put me in severe debt!
