My debit order takes off on the 10th of every month. I phoned to check on the 9th if the new rates will be deducted as I am sure I pay in advance. A Discovery agent told me not to worry as it will only come off on the 10th of January. I asked him if he is sure because I am trying to do a budget for this month and I am billed in advance. He said definitely the old amount. This morning I get an sms from my bank with the debit order and its R504 above what it should be. So I phone and speak to a new agent. They tell me the old amount should have gone off but its showing her a different amount as to what went off on my side. Next thing i am put on hold and when she returns she tells me it because I pay in advance and that is the new rate. Tomorrow I am supposed to take my 3 month old baby to get injections and now I am R500 short thanks to Discovery!
