I wanted to book a 2 night stay at the Fire and Ice Protea Hotel in Cape Town. Procard has offered us a voucher for buy one night and stay one night for free. Protea Hotel was very happy to help me until I mentioned that I want to redeem my voucher. Suddenly there were no more rooms available and I could not use this voucher for the booking. Furthermore they wanted to charge R1700 per night while on the internet I could make the booking for R1149. This is unacceptable! We do we pay for the benefits of this service, but are not able to use these benefits. The system misled us to think we are able to use this voucher at any time and not that only a specific amount of rooms will be available. Protea Hotel and Procard will have to up their game and start delivering the service they promise.
