After booking for a protea hotel president 2 months in advance, the room allocated to me and my family was in a smoking zone and not upgraded (very old) compared to the other rooms on the 3rd floor and above. When reporting the room issue to the front desk manager (Paul Rivet), he did not even try some effort to help us, instead he told us to settle for a 1 bedroom hotel whereas we booked for a 2 bedroom one. He was so unhelpful, did not care and even wanted to check us out at 21h00. We have never experience such bad service in any of the protea hotel we have visited.
