ADMINISTRATING AUTHORISATIONS FOR HOSPITALISATION

On the 5th of March I was admitted at Med-clinic Muelmed, the hospital requested authorisation from my medical aid for approximately 3.5 days. I was hospitalized for 4 days, so my medical aid only paid for 3.5 days; I was told to settle the outstanding amount. I have been trying to resolve the matter and find out exactly what happened and my medical aid confirmed that only 3.5 days was authorised. My concern is that someone at the hospital asked for 3.5 days, so I believe that the hospital was supposed to amend the days upon my discharge to 4 days. This whole thing has messed up with my credit record, my name is in the ITC cycle because of someone not doing their administration corretly. I would like my name to be removed form the cycle as I am not responsible for all of this, I was just a patient. I have been turned down for job offers because of all this. Someone needs to amend this and be responsible, instead of taking care of my toddler I stress of such things because of poor administration.
