I applied for medical aid (Key Care plus) in November 2013 for the first time ever and was approved and immediately available. In January I went too see my GP for a bladder infection and he discovered I had a cyst on my one and only ovary so he booked me into hospital (Welkom Medi Clinic) I got authorization number from the medical aid and was in hospital for 4 days and did some tests then they wanted to do a laparoscopy then I needed a knew authorization number. The gynecologist that was examining me booked me out because the new authorization number was pending. After a couple of days the medical aid phoned me and said that they are canceling my medical aid because I had on the application form. They said cause I ticked no for high blood pressure and because I had scripts for the past year for high blood pressure I . I believe I do not have a high blood pressure condition it was temporary thing I should not need indicate it. The problem is now I am without medical aid and they want me to carry the hospital fees which they authorized. What must I do they say the problem is indisputable?
