Incorrectly debitted my account

For the past three weeks I have been trying to recover R1 518 that was incorrectly debitted from my account by Bankmed. This after one of my dependants resigned from my medical aid. This money was debitted from my bank account and all I ask is that it be returned where it was taken from.

I have spoken to numerous agents who assured me that I would be refunded in 3 days time, that was 3 weeks ago and I still have not been refunded. I have spent an insane amount of time on the phone trying to get this resolved with no luck. I have spoken to various agents, Gail, Jess-Lynn, Siphokazi, and many other in between who have escalated to their teamleads Anathi & Faiz, still no joy.

Why is it so easy for companies to take consumers monies and then struggle to pay them back. I finally got a ref number after my 8th call, 151429213
