I have not met a medical Scheme that is so pathetic and such a rip off. If i have used my medical aid 6 times in the past year its allot. I went to Medicross Pinetown for a dental check due to an abscess. Get told that the Doc caanot operate due to a nerve which i can understand. All well i pay what i need to in cash.
3 weeks later i get told Bankmed did not pay for my x-ray's, some sterilised instiments and some other short falls. To an amount of R384.80. I pay over R1000.00pm on medical aid but the Medical Aid does not cover.
I do not have a choice but to be with bankmed due to Bank regulations. I think i have spent over R12 000.00 over the past year on medical aid and they wont cover a tiny amount R384.80.
Cannot wait for the day when i can cancel bankmed.
The biggest Rip-off of a medical Aid scheme i have ever known.
