Money debited from my account without a trace

I'm a very disappointed customer of Nedbank whose R1700 was debitted from my account. On the 3rd of February i received an sms that R1700 was debitted from my account. Went to the the bank and was assisted by Thandi who said the supervisor was on sick leave and needed to wait for her to do a refund. The matter took 3 months and still wasn't resolved after going to and fro the told me that they couldn't refund me because it seems the money was withdrawn from the atm when it even clearly said amount debitted from account. Now if I can't trust my own bank to save my money what am I supposed to do keep my money under a mattress. Or is it because I'm a domestic worker and clearly they think I'm dumb because clearly I'm not treated like a loyal customer. Please assist no one is willing to help me with this.
