Passing the Buck

During July the banking details from which the monthly installment is deducted, was changed by the broker. Confirmation was received from Discovery that the monthly installment would be deducted from the new account. My youngest had an appendectomy in August.

1. The anesthesiologist that was on duty for the operation was not on the Discovery Key care list.
2. When the claim was payed, the amount for the anesthesiologist was paid into the old bank account. This money is lost as it cannot be claimed form the bank as this account is part of debt review and not in use. There is now also an outstanding amount that has to be paid because the anasthesiologist was not on the Key care list. Prior to the operation we as parents were not informed that the anesthesiologist was not approved on the key care list
3. The documentation completed for the change of the account was done completely. No information pertaining the change of the account number in which money will be paid by Discovery was given to the main member.
4. The result is that we are now responsible for an account of R2500 of which R1500 was piad into the wrong account
