I was on my own plan with Discovery, and have now moved onto a new plan as a dependant of my Fiance, who was previously on his families plan. Due to the savings being evenly spread over the year, and me having used 90% odd to date, there is an amount owing, which I understand. However, when we asked to be bumped up to a better plan on the new membership, Discovery disallowed us. We can only change in Dec. Thus they are clearly NOT treating this as a "calcellation" and "new membership". I asked them to net the amount owing off from the savings on the new plan - which they have refused, and threatened to hand me to the lawyers! How absurd!? They clearly recognise my previous membership as part of my new membership, thus I cannot understand why they cannot net the amounts off!? What difference does it make to them I cannot understand! Fruther, I get a snotty call from some arrogant employee at Discovery! Clearly they think they can do what they like! I refuse to pay, and if they do not sort it out will consider moving my membership elsewhere for better service!
