Warning to all out there, Liberty will waste your time and cost you money!
As a young man I decided last year to start planning for my future, I got a few quotes and n friend advised me that I should talk to Liberty as they would be able to assist me for long term planning (my plan was to start out at a company and stick with them for life). I started out by taking out Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Income Protection and a Funeral Plan. Since then I've added a expensive medical aid with their Own Your Life program and an annuity fund all of these costing me more than R3000 a month which is a lot for someone who is only 25. So here comes the problem, I have been trying since March to update my banking details with them and every month there is a problem, strangely enough one month the would debit the correct banking details and the next month they don't, I have now managed to update all the details except for my medical aid which has failed to debit again and now I am tired of this. I am going to cancel all my policies with them and move to a financial insitution who actually have a proper admin department.
