EXCEPTIONALLY POOR SERVICE

I took out an investment policy and education policy with Liberty Life. My old financial advisor at that stage resigned and the matter was handed over to another financial advisor. About a month passed and I decided to cancel my Investment policy and to change the banking details of the education policy. Needless to say it took an age to cancel the investment policy and for it to pay out. Liberty failed to implement the education policy change of banking details when it was necessary to do so. I had only consented to an amount of R500-00 being debited on the new banking details. A month later Liberty without my consent went and deducted an amount of R1000-00 from the banking account and due to the fact that it was more than had been budgeted for it was dishonoured and I had to pay banking penalties for an amount that I never consented too!

On top of that the Financial advisor went and implemented a retirement policy of which I was unaware and for two months amounts were deducted from my banking account! I tried to acquire details of it but none were forthcoming.

They have failed to cancel the remaining policies despite me requesting for it and sending the necessary documents!!
