On the 26th of November 2013, I sent a email requesting my Medical Aid to be cancelled and no debit to be take for the month of January 2014 as I have moved to a new medical aid and as the email was sent on the 26th of November it was more then the 30 notice period of cancellation. This email was acknowledged as being received by Liberty Medical.
To my dismay Liberty still decided to debit my account and did not cancel my medical aid. Know I am paying for two medical aids. All efforts to contact Liberty Medical as been met with failure. I had a similar problem cancelling my life policy with Liberty which in the end took my 6 months to do.
This is definitely a company everyone should steer clear off as they have shown me nothing but incompetence.
