I broke my arm (left humerus) in 17 places on the 30th November 2012. It was an emergency, I was taken to the emergency room at milpark hospital by ambulance and was admitted into hospital immeadiatley for surgery. Disovery covered everything, but unfortunately they made the mistake to charge me out of my MSA for my physiotherapist and biokinetisist appointments. As per the PMB act, these forms of treatment should be paid for by disovery in full, and not come out of my MSA. This was an emergency and without treatment by a physiotherapist and biokinetisist I could loose functionality of my left arm.
I would like disovery to repay what they owe me. Disovery should not be sneaky and try hide the fact they should have been paying, instead they let a middle class 26 year old with a bond, pay her hard earned money towards this. I pay my medical aid so that I have protection... not to be cheated into paying more
