I had two separate ER visits for my sons to date for the year. Bankmed submits the claim to carecross, and the client has to wait for the account to get paid. In the interim the hospital is calling me threatening to hand the account over to the lawyers, as they could not be bothered with which service provider has to settle the bill.
When I called to follow up, I was informed that in April, with no notification, the rules have been changed that the member has to pay for the ER Casualty visit. I AM SORRY!! I cannot thumb changes on my scheme if has not been communicated to me.
Today I was informed that they will not settle the account, and I have to wait for written confirmation now!!
