I am extremely upset about this matter, what is the reason for me paying a medical aid and not getting the proper service. I need this matter to be escalated as 4 months has already lapsed, and I now have to fit the bill for which my medical aid had to pay. Please escalate the matter?

I was never informed that I need to pay to settle the bill as I assumed that if you pay the bill of the hospital, the bill of the doctor will also be settled. If I pay the bill, will I be able to claim it back?

The account has been processed and R1130.30 was paid to the practice on date.
The account has been rejected due to:
Treatment not covered by Carecross.

Good day,
I had and emergency on 1 May 2013 and rushed my son to Paarl Medi Clinic 12:00am. There were no Carecross GP's available that time. The GP just contacted me now, who assisted me advising that the account was never paid and is claiming the money from me. As be my benefit schedule below, when there are no Carecross GP's available my family is covered for R1450.00.
