I've always bragged how great my medical aid service provider SP for several years now & about a year or two ago i wanted to cancel but was persuaded by an agent to change over from Maxima Core to Maxima entryzone, i was told it had all the benefits that the core has, before agreeing to changing over i had one question for the agent as this was a concern for me. I suffer from a condition which requires me to go for a laprascope once in awhile and i wanted to make sure that this was covered as i had issues with a previous service provider as they did not cover it, i was told yes it was and so with the word of the fedhealth agent that i would be covered i agreed to change, today i get told my authorization for my laprascope has been declined and the reason for this is the particular code is not covered by my scheme. Now i have a medical emergency and need to go into hospital tomorrow for the op & my medical aid has declined, I pay R883 a month & mind my health needs, I've been told to wait for a callback. I'm highly irritated and very angry and i WANT someone to sort this before 12 today or else i'm cancelling this service & give it to some SP that will be willing to help me
