My membership No: GEMS: EMERALD: 000487952: I went to a dentist in PTA who told me my jawbone is very thin due to wearing dentures & I need an urgent operation. He wrote a motivation letter to GEMS, which was never answered. I wrote numerous emails, phoned many times only to be kept on hold by their call centre. I am in excrutiating pain because of the worn out jaw bone after wearing dentures for over thirty years. This lack of bone structure has as a result affected my sinuses. I am a now a pensioner who has been a faithful subcriber from the time I was still gainfully employed and cannot afford the steep medical expense. What is frustrating, is that GEMS is not responding to any of mine nor my doctor's correspondence.
