My name is Josephine Mlotshwa, Medical AID Ref No: 000487952, Emerald scheme. I am a pensioner and have been wearing dentures for many years. Now the dentures are falling and Drs discovered that my upper jaw bone has been eroded and is very thin. There recommended that I go for a surgery where they will remove a bone from my hip and use it to grow my jaw bone. This they say is a normal surgical procedure which they say my medical aid should cover. I am in terrible pain and what is heart breaking, is that GEMS is not responding to the Dr's motivation and my numerous emails requesting an approval. Every month money is deducted from my pension money and people who are supposed to help me, are just too busy to even tell me they won't help me. I request Hellopeter to help get GEMS to help a suffering 63 year old female pensioner.
