Unpaid Claim. VERY ANGRY AND FRUSTRATED

On february the 12th 2013, i was forced to have emergeny caesar as my baby was distressing & they had to take her out 2 weeks before the actual expected date, an anaesthetic was given to me. 2 months later i received an invoice from the anaesthetist advising of the unpaid bill of R2289.61 which was not settled by my medical aid. I immediately contacted Bankmed & advised of the bill, they (cant remember the consultant name) advised that an escalation has been sent. Unfortunately no one got back to me until i got another reminder from the Dr. I again contacted Bankmed again & still i was told its been reffered to claims department.
now on monday (01/07/2013) i received another reminder that the account is still not settled, i phoned them again & i spoke to Siphokazi Sithole who advised that she sent another escalation & will call me back the next day (02/07/2013) of which she did & advised that no outcome has been received yet & will call again on 03/07/2013) & till today i havent received a call from them
i dont know what to do, i am stressed& frustrated. This billl needs to be settled & its not my fault that i had to go for emergency caesar. The Dr is angry & about to hand me over.
