I joined medihelp around a year ago. Recently moved to Phalaborwa. After going on the website I found that there is no necesse doctors in my area. I phoned the call centre and asked where should I go and they also stated that there is no doctors/dentists in the area. When joining it stated that Medihelp would pay 80% of my costs if I do not go to a necesse network doctor. The help line also said that I am able to go to a doctor and submit a claim to medihelp after paying myself. Everytime I did this I will always get a statement which states that nothing has been paid by the medical aid and that I would have to pay everything myself. I have to pay R2, 469.90 now as the medical aid refused to pay anything. Isint this the reason we have medical aid???
I have cancelled my membership and would advise anyone whom cannot always go to a necesse network doctor to do the same.
