Only after cancelling my Vitality membership did I notice that I had been double billed for the entire period of my membership (luckily only 3 months!). R155 was being taken of my salary as well as out of my personal account.
I had to provide bank statements as proof after which I was told that it was "an oversight and human error from the Discovery Health side", and then they only refunded 2 or the 3 double billings. This was mid April! I am still waiting for this reimbursement more than 2 months later after several follow-ups.
To add to this, I was charged for Vitality again in May (15th) because my membership was not cancelled properly, and I was only refunded now on the 25th of June.
I wonder how many other people are being ripped off like this and don't even notice.
