I receive an sms to notify me that i am going to be handed over for an amount of R1944.30 - Funny thing is I NEVER received an invoice letting me know that medical aid was not going to cover the bill... So I phone and fight for an invoice, after 3 days I finally get a statement, I pay, forward the POP and then receive another sms a week later telling me I'm being handed over again! I phoned now to find out what's going on and the Consultant tells me it's my fault that it hasn't been processed and there is nothing she can do to help me... I am FURIOUS! Always loved Ampath and chose them over Lancet, well that's over now and I will NEVER go to Ampath again! They can't help finalise my account because they have a backlog which is also apparently my fault! What a joke!
