We had a bill for R140.30 that was rejected by or medical aid, due to funds depleted. Account was just handed over to Vericred. Without a courtesy call to let us know about the account. After being contacted by Veri-cred to let us know that the bill had been handed over for collection - Amount now R260.00. I contacted Ampath's account's department to discuss this with them. They informed me that they no longer feel its necessary to call their clients anymore about outstanding accounts. They just send sms's & post letters (to the wrong address), with Our postal system in the state that it is??? - really!!! & the dont send registered letters either. - Ampath, its time you smell the roses & take a leaf from your competition (Lancet) & take PR with you customers seriously. Anyway you are a company, who dont respond to Hellopeter complaints!!! so my complaint wont be heard!!!
Disgusting attitude, South Africa, take you business to Lancet, they CARE.
