2 years ago i went to the hospital and did blood tests. The hospital (Olivedale) uses Ampath.
I was on medical aid, so i presumed that the medical aid covered it as I never (until today) received a statement from them. then beginning of last year i get a call from a very RUDE woman called Marthie Coleman from Lexmed, because I was handed over. I have requested Ampath statements from them, to no avail.
I do not understand why i have to pay the charges to Lexmed which has been over 1000 because Ampath did not send me a statement or attempt to contact me at all. and they had my email and number and everything else you put in a form when you are admitted.
