I have been trying to sort out a hospital bill from end January and have had terrible service from discovery healths complaints department. I have written numerous letters, spent literally hours on the phone ad have gotten no where! This bill was sent in error and is now stopping me from doing my pre-admission for the birth of my baby, which should have been done 7 weeks ago already. I have also been told by the hospital accounts department that should something go wrong, the hospital would not admit me because of this outstanding bill. This is unacceptable!
I literally do not know who else to contact within discovery as every time i call, i am put through to another unhelpful consultant who cannot assist me and always tell me to call back! I have not been able to contact the consultant who dealt with me initially, danielle peterson.
This is now becoming a matter of extreme urgency if I cannot go to the hospital when Into labour, all because of terrible service from discovery. PLEASE HELP!!!
